HEAD OF SOCIAL
As the only full-time employee on Edible Manhattan Group’s social team, I had complete control over the production, filming and, editing of content posted across all platforms.
My day-to-day responsibilities included, but were not limited to:
Optimizing digital and editorial content to share across all platforms for all four titles — Edible Manhattan, Edible Brooklyn, Edible Hudson Valley, and Edible Westchester
Monitoring and replying to comments and messages on all platforms
Building out the social calendar, including a variety of sponsored and editorial posts
Scheduling visits to restaurants to grab social-first video content
Strategically planning posts based on analyzing social insights
Social Impressions
Social impressions consistently rose, and jumped significantly in October, coinciding with the launch of our TikTok.

I produced, filmed, wrote and recorded the narration, coordinated the shoots, and added each video to the social calendar to align with corresponding content.

DAY-TO-DAY
As a member of a small team, my responsibilities often changed on a day-to-day basis. Beyond content creation across platforms, building out a social calendar, and monitoring our social channels, I often multitasked numerous other duties.
As the Content Marketing Producer, I was the sole person creating weekly newsletters to send out to 70,000+ subscribers across all four publications via MailChimp. I aimed to schedule out 1-2 newsletters a week, not including sponsored emails.
I was a main component of our Digital Content Team, directly interacting on the client side of meetings to create content based on sponsorships and collaborations. My other responsibilities included building out the Digital Editorial calendar, assigning freelance writers for digital-first stories, managing interns, and occasionally writing articles.
